Boris Johnson has now advised the wearing of fabric face masks to help the fight against the spread of the Covid-19 Coronovirus in the UK as we work towards lifting the lockdown.

Within the current restrictions, we are ramping up the manufacturing of our Eco Cotton Face Masks as best we can to meet the demand for people wanting high quality surgical masks. Originally designed as surgical-style facemasks for those going through chemotherapy, we are now making and selling more to everyone from our little factory on the borders of Wales and England. 

We will continue to update our stock of Liberty Print, Harry Potter, Disney & Fun Prints, as well as nice quality stylish printed designs to suit people of all ages. Three sizes to fit adults, children and teens. 

Hello everyone, 

we are currently being inundated with enquiries about our surgical-style face masks. We are manufacturing as quickly as possible given the restrictions for the Covid-19 lockdown & personal circumstances and will be updating stock levels at regular intervals onto the site, but we are currently experiencing a few technical difficulties, please bear with us. 

We are a highly professional manufacturing business team, but also a small team, which whilst it allows us to react quickly to customer requests and fulfil bespoke desires, it also means that it's harder in busy periods to respond to everyone's queries. 

There is currently no one manning the phones and so all enquiries must go via email please.

I feel the need to point out again out that these face masks are designed for personal use, in the hope of containing the spread of the virus - they do not meet regulatory standards determined for medical devices or personal protective equipment (PPE) products.

I hope this message finds you safe. In these unprecedented times, whilst I personally feel the Bold Beanies website and products are a necessity for many, they could be considered as non-essential. However, I'm doing everything I can to preserve jobs and morale of our small factory team and continue to offer our comfy, stylish cancer hair loss headwear as well as other chemo Alopecia products and gifts to those that need them... enabling loved ones to show they care and offer practical help from a distance. 

Please allow extra time for orders to be processed and delivered whilst we adapt to a new way of working and take into account the personal family commitments of our staff and the government regulations. We are working to the strict sanitary guidelines as well as contactless delivery.

Please understand that at this current time, we are unable to offer customisation for our cancer hair loss headwear and gifts. Customers will be notified quickly of any issues with the delivery of their order.

Grateful for being a small enough business this morning to make a little boy a bespoke Toy Story surgical face mask with matching Bold Beanies Chemo Hat

He finds the whole process of accessing his port extremely distressing, which includes wearing a surgical face mask, so his parents thought this might help. 

The surgical style face mask is made with a great fun 100% cotton print from Toy Story with reversible red side. They have requested a red plain Bold Beanie, which we are making an iron on patch using the Toy Story material to match the mask.

Bold Beanies are super soft thin stretchy cotton hats which are designed to fit snugly and be so comfortable that any child will forget they are wearing it... hopefully this one will be so fun he will be excited to wear it too! Many children lose their hair with chemotherapy treatments for Leukaemia and other cancers and so having a favourite animal or character along can really help.

We are also making matching Toy Story Face-masks for Mum & Dad and older sister... what a wonderful way to help lighten a difficult process and make it a bit more bearable.
