Olivia Newton John dies peacefully with Stage 4 Metatastic Breast Cancer

Olivia Newton-John has passed away aged 73, her family has confirmed

The British-Australian singer and actress, known for her roles in Grease and hit songs like “Physical”, was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, and spent years battling the illness. 

She revealed in 2017 that it had returned for a third time, and she was living with stage-four metastatic breast cancer.

Her husband John Easterling said in a statement shared on her social media: “Dame Olivia Newton-John passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends. We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.

“Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer.”
